I swear I looked cute that day! ;)

I stopped to make sure everyone was okay and he kinda gave me a sheepish grin and said, "That's a nice car, though."

Haha that's kinda funny. Well at least ur car got no damage

Around the time when I first got my car (2013 summer so still kinda rare on the streets), had a douchey attitude guy in a hopped up RSX grab my attention as I was getting out of my car to get a Subway. He kept asking what kind of car I was driving to my reply, a Scion... To him rebuttling, it's a Subaru. This went on for like 6 times until I just said, it's a Toyobaru and is face just got confused lol. Seemed like he was pushing me to say something like the car is fast or whatever then maybe wanting to insue a race. It was quite awkward.

Speak for yourself, but since my FRS is a fishbowl, I know that the girls, and guys alike are more than likely looking at the good looking blonde dude driving the car

Well, to be totally honest, the only other person who drives my car is my mother. No, you can't meet her.

Now that I think about it, time to get limo tints asap.

Shit you blocked all the "your mother...." jokes right up front.

Dude in a truck tried to cut me off on the freeway. Long story short, even though it was probably a v8 it was still an automatic. Dropped to fifth and pulled away.

jdubious 02-07-2015 09:15 PM

This past Christmas eve I took my mother out for dinner. After we left the restaurant I decided it would be best to stop for gas. Everything seemed normal but then I noticed the last person at my pump bought $2 worth of gas. I thought, gas is as cheap as ever.....perhaps he is riding a moped. Temp was in the 30s, perhaps not...this person made an effort to stop at 2.

True story, freaked me the hell out.

I hope that you do realize that driving five to seven miles an hour above the posted speed limit is speeding. No biggie but in traffic court, those words would be considered a confession. We all speed. Most roads are under posted for revenue enhancement purposes.

Do cops bother you at that much over the limit? Not arguing what you're saying, just curious. Most cops in Canada will ignore you as long as you're only 12 kph over. That's on 50, 60 and 70 kph limits though. For 80, 90 and 100's you're safe to do about 20 over In most areas.

Although personally, since getting this car and noticing more attention from the 5-0, I've almost stopped speeding entirely and keep it to the limit for the most part.

I knew they could smoke me if they wanted to.. maybe they didn't know that. I don't normally do things like that, but it pissed me off that I was being tailgated when there were only two cars on the road and there were two lanes.

Haha well technically I was speeding but here in VA most cops let u get away going 5 over And usually don't pull people over unless they go 10 over.

In my area cops don't pull u over for going 5mph In residential areas. But highways 5-10 mph over is normal for everyone

That's fair. In my own personal situation, I'm a young guy (23, but look more like I'm 17) and I drive a sports car with a loud exhaust and clearly after market parts. I don't want to attract any additional attention.

It brings me back to the time a cop followed me for about 4 kilometres through my city while I riding my motorcycle. It was only a Honda 125 CBR, but it had am the HRC colour scheme and I have a bright helmet, so I might look like a hoonigan. Easier to obey rules of the road and not give them reason, than to push the limit of what they think is acceptable behaviour and subsequently complain about "profiling"

Hell you do under 120 (speed limit 100) on the 401 and you will probably get rear ended by an OPP!

That's true. I'm not on the 401 too often. Couple weeks out of the year when we're done work for the season and I'm working in the office. I'll do about 110-115 on the 401 and about the same on the 407. I've also noticed driving at that speed is far less stressful on the 401 than trying to do 120 or so consistently. This way, people are passing me and I rarely have to slow down for a fuck head that's doing 105 in the left lane.

I spend 14 hours a week on the 401 and would be scared to death to do 110 most of the time. Even the trucks that are allegedly governed for 110 go faster then that and I would be afraid of one of them creeping up on me.
Now, most of my long drives are done at 5 in the morning and 2 in the afternoon so traffic isn't usually an issue.

I'm 18 and african-american in texas so yeah I'm at risk for profiling. I've been followed in my dads 330ci when i have the top down but other than that i haven't noticed anything, and havent had the gen long enough for anything to really happen

Wilsonk227 02-08-2015 01:20 AM

I was driving on the freeway to work one morning when I saw a White FRS in one of the left lanes. I immediately was like "Ooo time to say hi!" so I went up to the right and noticed it was a girl. I looked at her to say hi but she stared ahead with a straight face.

So i thought maybe she didnt see me, time to go ahead of her and see if she notices me and says hi, so I go ahead and then slow down and look on my left again but she still had such a pooped face on. lol

too much effort to say hi lol

2 days ago I was driving home and I saw an asphalt FRS in front so I drove up next to it on the left side. The sad part was that it was tinted so dark that I couldn't even see the driver lol oh wells
