but is it possible? if so, how uncomfortable is it?

i put the salesman in the back of the car, he was not comfortable and did not appreciate when i drifted the car around every corner making him bang his head on the side of the car.

Wagons yo, designed for 6 tall Swedes to accompany you home, that's like 8 asian women right?

Plus drifting.

I've had 4 people in it on more than one occasion, and I've ridden in the back of it on the test drive while MomHawk drove it. It helps to have a short driver though so it leaves some room in the back. 3 people is easy to do.

BRZ21 10-22-2014 09:40 PM

My friend loves it...

I think you're on to something there...

Screw a turbo! Toyota needs to get a frs wagon going! Or maybe a clown shoe hatchback like the Ferrari ff.

motosteveo 10-22-2014 10:39 PM

I once brought 3 other adults to the airport with 3 suitcases in the trunk! It was a shameless, uncomfortable, proud moment for me. Go twins! :burnrubber:

Edit: forgot to mention I'm 6'3"

soon... 10-23-2014 12:17 AM

Never thought I'd use the backseat, but twice this weekend I had someone in the back. Full grown adults at that. While they werent comfortable it was definitely better than I expected. Seemed like the worst part was climbing out.

BRZBlack 10-23-2014 11:12 PM

We have back seats??????

Texas BRZ 10-23-2014 11:31 PM

Once my BRZ arrives, I will be using the back seats regularly for my 3 and 6 year olds. I know many people could care less about those extra seats but they are lifesavers for me. As good as this car is, it would have been a serious deal breaker without them. I am extremely thankful to Toyota and Subaru.

It'll be perfect. My grandkids love riding with me.

No doubt, brother. Had a 2013 FR-S before this, and kids had a blast each and every time.

xmadror 10-24-2014 08:46 AM

I did it twice with 4 adults all of us were between 5'6" and 5'8".
Those in the rear complained about getting in and out but otherwise I was told it was pretty comfortable for a ~30 min ride both time.

funwheeldrive 10-24-2014 09:22 AM

I've had my sister in the back before. It's not comfortable but it works.

I wouldn't have bought this car if it wasn't for the rear seats.

Tgionet 10-24-2014 09:40 AM

ONLY IN THE TRUNK

00NissanNinja 10-24-2014 05:37 PM

I've had people back there more than once about 5'5" for short-ish trips. They fit, its cramped but they fit. Getting in and out I was also told sucked.

tyrantcf 10-24-2014 05:52 PM

I had my buddy back there once, hes 6'1" 220. He loved it.

Zatherine 10-24-2014 05:53 PM

I've had to drive a third person the second day after I got the car. She just had to sit in the back with her legs crossed on the seat. She was not happy that much I know...lol trip was about 30 mins.

Bullnettles 10-24-2014 05:53 PM

Fit one person once for a 3 hour road trip. She was a trooper, but it was uncomfortable for her. Small frame 5'3" woman.

You're like 4'11?

kberkel 10-25-2014 03:28 AM

went to lunch today, 2 guys up front, girl in back.

I'm way short though, so my seat gives some leg room on the left side.

99% of the time It's just 2 people, I consider the car a 2 seater

Anorax 10-25-2014 04:18 AM

I never have.

However, having had FOUR people ride passenger in a Fiero (two seperate occasions), they should be GLAD for the room back there

x1UP 10-25-2014 12:36 PM

I've used the back seats on more than one occasion. Both no more than 5"4 though.

Hah! I dropped off two of my cousins at high school in my '85 MR2 when it was new. They were small enough they could share the seat and wear the seatbelt. This was when the MR2 had been in the country less than a month, and they lived out in the middle of nowhere in KY (one high school in two counties). They were "the cool kids" for a while after that!

KelvinBRZ 10-26-2014 05:56 PM

raven1231 10-26-2014 06:50 PM

bodies...

uEih 10-27-2014 07:35 PM

Had 2 in the back before but that was a short drive, ~10 mins. Usually in most cases I'll have one person in the back and they'll be fine, if they're uncomfortable they'll usually sit sideways and take both seats. About to have 2 in the back this week on a 1.5 hour drive, lets see how it goes.

pl1ght 10-27-2014 08:14 PM

my 6 year old daughter with the passenger seat pulled all the way up.

Trigonx 10-27-2014 10:08 PM

Drove from Colorado to Wisconsin with 3 Adults, all around 5'6" - 5'-7"

Was very doable, frequent smoke/bathroom/food breaks made it work.

艾洛 10-27-2014 10:43 PM

I'm 5'3... people say it's more comfortable sitting behind me than in the passenger seat (they're not use to bucket seats at all) they just hate getting in and out from the back.

tigermack 10-27-2014 11:56 PM

They must be wide.

technoid 11-08-2014 02:34 AM

When I first got my car, took my parents a ride. Mom rode back there (side saddle). Her comment was "Well, no sex in the back seat for you!" Still laughing about that!!!
