I struggled to get my Type-S to 137, while my older '00 Si hit 140mph with the giant drag inducing wing attached(145mph w/o wing).

And yes, the Si was much more stable at those speeds.

Different tires - Bridgestone Potenza's (G009 I think). No spoiler. Really wasn't sure if speedo was accurate, but, that's what it was reading or if possible downhill grade, was kinda not playing well with others in a Golf. Fortunately for me, he hit his speed limiter and diffused the situation. Definitely completely out of steam at that point.

I was interested in this too. Keeping pissing contests to a minimum, just knowing what people have got theirs to.

My best is 245 km/h (152ish mph) on a vacant road, not completely straight though, would have a little more in it with the power I have, (Vortech etc). Best I managed on the same road with stock power was 215km/h (134mph)

As for them getting to 170mph, Definitely doubt anyone will get that fast without A LOT of power. Easy on a dyno with no air resistance though haha

Going into the straight at turn 16 at Sebring in a 911 GT3 RS with hammer down we hit 158 before we let off.

185...km/h in my BRZ.

260km/h and still going in the dark driving my 135i, that was dumb!

120km/h on the highway so far. I rather not go outrageously faster than posted speed limits in fears of being caught by cops, ticketed, and impounded for 7 days....again. Ain't payin' $600ish total for that fiasco again. My driving record will be fubared if I pull that dumb shit again. I'll do it on a track...whenever that will be.

149 on the meter, legally on a dry summer day in light traffic. Gotta love those Germans! :D

That was on stock tires with a passenger and luggage, was less scary than I though. The Germans build nice roads.

120, NA. Picks up well at higher rpm. Wish I had a better exhaust tho -_-

160 something last year. I was too busy watching the road when doing this but it was just past the 160 mark. And I dare not taken a photo while driving that speed.

I'm sure it can do more though. My slower Nismo 370Z hit 155mph pretty easily but bounced off the speed limiter. Maybe 170 something for the turbo FR-S? Just found out that 6th tops out around 170 :(

This was done inbetween Houston and Dallas on I-45.
