I think we can meet up at the same spot for 86 fiesta since I don't think we have that many people compared to last caravan:

Starbucks in Milpitas
1197 E Calaveras Blvd, Milpitas, CA 95035

Meet at 6:30PM
Leave at 7:30PM

I think I should create another thread for that :)

so far we have @phanguy @MizzKiMi @FRS_Jack @ck-GT86 (pending) @Rachey's FR-S

Waiting on the remaining:

We can prolly meet around 6:30 and head out around 7:30PM (to avoid traffic)

@MyRx would you like to join us cos since u r working in south bay and still need to head to that direction. it might be a bit more fun driving with us than getting stuck in traffic. On the side note, I have never been to Dublin location so you might be able to lead us to the right spot :D

Thanks but unfortunately I'm only in the Southbay Sun - Tues/Wed. Rest of the days, I'm in the Eastbay (10min from Dublin).

Heads up tho, traffic on 680N is a PITA down to 84 (Sunol) junction, during the time you mentioned. I won't suggest leaving earlier nor later, that's up to you guys. Regardless, Dublin meets tends to stay open late so no worries - just be safe and keep a cool head in traffic. I could suggest, picking up some inexpensive FRS radios to make caravans a bit more fun. There's no laws against those haha.

Talk amongst the Southbay group. You guys decide. I'm sure someone has traveled 680 north bound on a Friday afternoon/evening.

Soon enough I'll be in that mayhem...Tahoe season! Snowboard anyone :party0030:

Getting too OT, but hell yes. I didnt get a chance to go at all last year or the year before that really. Think we need a thread for that. Lol

I've done this commute before and sadly, Friday night traffic is the worst no matter where you are!

I'd say leave around 7:30 as there's not much difference if you guys left at 8pm. Sooner you guys are on the road, the sooner you'll get there.

buzznasa 11-08-2013 12:57 AM

I will certainly try to make it... can't positively confirm but I should be able to.

@finch1750 you should get a thread started and we can all go snowboarding... my only concern is that I dun think our cars can go against the snow and I will not put chains on my car, thats for sure :D

Think we'll go with 7:30 cos we don't want to be the ones who show up when everyone is about to leave.

Im sure we can manage somehow. If we get stuck in traffic with a bunch of other 86s, i won't mind (as long as I have good music and good companies)

Rachey's FR-S 11-11-2013 08:13 PM

Sadly I'll have to sit this one out. My mom is really sick so I need to go stay with her in Elk Grove. I'll have to make my donation another time :( Bummed to flake on my own thread.

Msnicoleeeee 11-11-2013 08:49 PM

If anyone is going to the Toy Drive from SF, I have some stuff to donate and will need to meet with someone since I'm not going to be able to make it.
