My wife is 18 weeks and has no problem getting in and out of the car. Into the 3rd trimester I imagine she'd have problems, but for now all is good. We have her legacy so 3rd trimester and carting around the newborn will be a non-issue. My sympathies to all of your who's wives don't like your cars. Mine loves the car, or at least loves taking naps in the car, it puts her to sleep. She also enjoys the vibration in the car...

You also have to ask yourself how many times does the entire family (to fill up all or most of the seats in the BRZ) go someplace and an alternative vehicle is not availible? I don't have children yet, however, if we need to all go somewhere together, we have a 4 door sedan for that.

Although I did come from a 2011 WRX hatch and while I love the BRZ, I could see that be much easier to transport a family.

buy a 2014 WRX :) they are selling here for 26,995 ! great safe awd family car, just stay out of boost when your kids in the car :lol:
