The car was delivered to another dealer who took it, put tint on the windows, marked it up quite a bit, and didn't want to give it up. I saw the window sticker from the other dealer to prove it. |

The other dealer marked the car up but it wasn't their car to sell. My dealer got the car back and I bought it at the previously negotiated price. Sorry for the confusion, the car is home with me now.

I personally haven't heard of "cars being lost", but when cars are ordered close to a cut off deadline, they can disappear sometimes meaning that the order missed and they cant fulfill the order.

I used to work at a dealership, which makes it harder to believe that it was lost. I think they sold your car that came in to another client and said they would dealer trade for one spec'd the exact way you wanted it. That aside enjoy your BRZ!
