My Pegasus White Toyota 86 GTS was mistaken for a Lexus LFA...

When people would ask if its fast I would say no and they think im lying or being coy so now I just say yep its fast.

Only people who don't know about cars would mistake them for another, most car guys know what they're looking for. I got similar questions when I had my 2008 ninja 250R from people asking if it was a 1000cc, once you know a little bit about cars/bike you know the differences ;)

Mine was mistaken for a Hyundai Veloster, I laughed.

I do get a lot of looks at gas stations, I'm so glad these cars don't have the Mustang disease (hey look, the 200th mustang today)

I liked the older genesis coupe with the wide open grille like these, I hate the "angry samurai" of the new ones

I'm not gonna lie, when a veloster is coming towards me at night with the headlights on I mistake it for an frs sometimes (especially the white one)

^velocter looks like someone smushed a scion xb, so yeah I can see some odd, cross-relation

would it be less stupid if someone said it looks like the LFA (atleast from the front)
