this is exactly how i wished the toms lights had looked originally. I tried the redded out look on my raven and didnt care much for it. My cut open blacked stock tails look much better, and this provides the perfect balance.

The biggest difference aside from the black housing is the lit side reflector which is what truly makes them DoT/NHSTA legal.

Since these have a clear casing, maybe the orange turn signals are a bit easier to see. That would be best.

I was thinking about this...but almost all the German cars (especially the new ones) have red turn signals.

Yep lots of cars going to this. It's a shame. Orange turn signals are so much easier to see.

Not like anyone uses them anyway.

Meh. Agreed with the others. Need to see it on an actual car and some car colors might match better than others.

Although these taillights make it good to have the reflector, I personally prefer the JDM dark red casing. I'm not bummed in my choice at all because IMO, they match perfectly with my DGM. :thumbsup:
