I tried REALLY hard to take a picture of where they meet but I can't even tell..... they did too good of a job  and for those worried that 70% will effect visibility from the inside, this was taken around 5pm sundown in cloudy weather, as long as you get a high quality film visibility is not affected, i might go even further and claim that it feels like it improved visibility for me |
just got a fix it ticket for tint on my door windows.. they have been cracking down in this shit hole town since accident almost took the chief of police kids life for acting like a jackass on the main street in the middle of the night, lost control when racing or something.. anyways, they have been giving out tickets for 6k and above hids, hids pnp kits in civics and that stuff, like holagen housings.. car being to low, truck being to high, tint, music, all the stuff..
' i was heading back from a meet with the vegas86 club and at 1:45 in the morning pulled me over literally in front of my apartments. said it was for no front plate and tint.. just cite me for the tint.. ill go get it off, get the ticket signed, then run back down with the tint i took off and have the shop put on new tint.. part of the package i got lol.. its 40% to not even that dark.. i like the look of my dark back windows, but the guy who said that 20% doesnt matter to him at night??? i cant tell whats behing me in the day with 20% looking thru my rearview, have to use my side view mirrors, and at night can just see lights and thats it.. couldnt tell you what the lights are bolted to |

it happens.. i dont act like a ass.. while i wish i could do to my car what i want.. i understand why the laws are there.. people would be running around with double 20% on every window, or what ever.. racing on the street is stupid and, while it is harsh, the kid did deserve what he got.. i dont wish harm on no one.. but putting people in harm is uncalled for and doing that shit down main street is .. well... stupid..
i keep quite because, im pretty sure some LEO's are car people and know that NO C.A.R.B. certified parts are out for our cars.. and i didnt want a fix it for the exhaust or intake lol.. ive seen a friend start talking shit to a texas highway patrol and instead of a few hundred dollar speeding ticket, got fined for no cat and other stuff.. the no cat alone was 20 grand.. so im not pushing my luck at all lol |

wow even 45% is dark (at night). Do you have a day time pic?
my first tint was on an accord and i wasn't prepared to pick so i just said 20% and it was super dark. since then i felt like 35% would be best and i was planning on that for my incoming BRZ. but now i may need to lighten it up. perhaps a 55-60%? |
anyone get limo like me.. lol
|
I got wincos as well. I did 5% all the way around except the front windshield. Love wincos, looks dark from the inside but from inside out its not.

That looks absolutely amazing, but I don't think I could spend 400 bucks on it. I'll probably just hold off on getting a tint until I can justify doing it right though, because your car looks sicknasty.

I was considering Wincos as-well, but got a killer deal on 3M Crystalline ($325 tax included)....I went with 40% all the way around for a "lighter" look, as I didn't want a fix it ticket on expensive film

This was before I had the windshield done. 15% back and sides, Windshield is a crystaline 3M tint, %70. Total about $400 and it couldn't be happier with it. The windshield is hardly noticeable from inside and the other windows are a little darker but I don't find it any more difficult to see things then before I had it. |
