^ You live on a Pacific island and pay cheaper prices than Europe, shut it.

My commute is less than 5 miles, had the car 2.5 weeks, at 2270 miles :)

My lease is special and allows 30k. I have no idea how to use it.

I hope your not paying for this car long term because when you get to 5 years at 110k miles your gonna look back and be like damn, maybe I should have been more conservative

Got the car in the end of june. Did not have for a few weeks for cel and other issues. I know when I hit 110k I will have driven it as much as she deserved. Have a ton of memories already with her.

Ok, now that you guys have had some long term experience with the car what are your thoughts? Do you still like it overall? What could be better, what do you really like? What issues if any have you had?

Yruyur 12-28-2012 02:16 PM

Cel issue that required the engine being pulled apart, new ecu, condensation in tailights, new tranny clutch and flywheel, chirping, rattles, a bunch of other things but I still love getting in the car every day

Every single time I get behind the wheel, I smile. I've had the car for 7.5 months, you'd think the honeymoon phase would be over, but it isn't. Even with the rattle from the rear deck and the condensation in the taillights, I'm very happy with it.

What could be better? Maybe 50 more horsepower. Or better gas mileage (though that may just be my fault).

July 19 and I have almost 7k miles. I haven't driven the car in almost 10 days.

FR-S Matt 12-28-2012 03:21 PM

Crazy mileage guys. Here's to your next 280,000!

luuser75 12-28-2012 04:04 PM

I need to drive more...5 weeks and 330 miles lol

kramerica_industries 12-28-2012 10:13 PM

I just rolled over 11,000 on the way from Chicago to my parents in MN for Xmas. No CEL issues. Just the chirping HPFP and the trunk weld ticking sound which I'll deal with in the spring.

_F-R-S_ 12-28-2012 10:22 PM

14k and some issues right now but i just think the clutch is going up

roddy 12-28-2012 10:53 PM

A little over 15,000KM (about 9,400 miles) and a couple of minor issues (window seal and crickets). No regrets...love this car. It's even good in the snow with proper tires. We got about 10 inches of the white stuff yesterday and the little car took it like a champ.

MikelJ 12-28-2012 11:18 PM

12,500 miles here since June 4. Issues?-both tail lights replaced due to condensation, hpfp replaced, two direct injectors replaced, dealer reflash, transmission fluid change once it got cold, but no cel yet. Haha.

Mo707 12-28-2012 11:47 PM

7200 miles. Got it June 2nd.

Big Steve 12-29-2012 01:37 AM

22,000 miles on my Hot Lava. I live in Texas and it's easy to rack up some miles here.
I had an expensive sports car that I hoarded the miles on and was rear-ended while stopped at a light. It was two years old with 10,000 miles. I am going to see how this car compares to my '05 Tundra with 288,000 miles. I haven't driven my Tundra in 7 months!

jmaryt 12-29-2012 02:06 AM

of note: one can "fit" all of "new england" into the state of texas,so with that in mind,
you've got one hell of a lot of driving to do!..just sayin'
