@allowe, this is a must. Frequent rookie oversight. Fellow member's friend hosts this important page. I don't know how long they'll stay up so read while you can. |

Do you actually have to take off the lca, trailing arm and toe arm in order to take the hub off? Thanks for your reply! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

No, just wheel and brake needs to come off, hub is held on by four bolts. http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showp...0&postcount=43 |

Yea the entire assembly, I bought the whole thing instead of trying to pack bearings myself. Reason why I asked is because I asked someone on YouTube and they said that you have to take those arms off in order to get to the axle but he also stated that it's the same process for the hub. That's great information though! That speed censor looks like something that's easily damagable. Thanks for the info !!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Pull all the parking brake parts off and get in there with a screwdriver. It's just a little rusty. Don't cock it sideways or it will bind. Work all around so it comes out evenly. Or, since you'll be tossing it, you can get behind it where the screw holes are and whack it with a drift punch? :iono: If you're gentle or have extras, you can put the screws back in until almost seated and tap on those with the drift punch. |

I've tried a screw driver, putting weight on it. Using 2 bolts one north west and other south east and it using something in the middle to make that put spin and no luck. Idk what to do anymore :S Thanks for your post! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

In detail so we don't end up going in circles, tell us exactly what you've done to this point. |

I took a slide hammer, put it in the back of the hub part that's stuck. Went at it for 30 minutes and it didn't budge at all! I put the bolts in reverse and used a hub puller and it still won't come out Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Is that true? |

Nope it hasn't budged at all . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

If that doesn't work, heat the carrier with a torch and try again. |
Anyone know how to take the parking brake off? What about the upper control arm part? I might just take that part to a shop and have it pressed out.

Toe arm bolt
So I took it to 3 shops. First one spent 20 mins on it with an air hammer and no luck, second spent 5 minutes and gave up, third guy was a lucky find. He spent over an hour using every tool on it he has and after a while, he banged it out. It was stuck to the backing plate, he took it out, cleaned for me. Gave me more instructions on how to do the rest and when I asked how much I owe him, he said "I'd kill for a coffee right now" went got him one with a box of donuts as a thank you. He even offered to do my alignment for 50 bucks cash. He's a small shop with like 2 guys working with him. I finally found a trustable Mechanic :)!!
Thanks everyone for your patience with me!! It's working great and the sound is gone!! @Ultramaroon especially you, thanks for all your help man I truly appreciate you keeping up with my thread!!
