He is either the most hated guy here while people are waiting or the biggest hero once he arrives.

I stepped in as a seasonal helper 10 years ago when I was between regular jobs. You guys do not slack at all. I was impressed and humbled.

I'd be happy with three months...the surgeon is estimating 6.

Ah yes, helpers...sometimes it takes them a while to wrap their heads around the pace.

No photos available but this is a map:

http://www.dshs.state.tx.us/uploaded...campus_map.jpg

I work in the Laboratory Building. Note the Security Barrier that doesn't extend completely around the building; this is called "low bid".

While searching, I found this photo:

http://www.hhsc.state.tx.us/newslett...s-lab-tour.png

This is one of my co-workers, in fact we work in the same section of the lab. As far as I can tell, she isn't doing anything related to our actual work.

Looks like she is getting ready to vape! Or just did a pregnancy test and doesn't like the result.

Nah you've got it wrong, she has been given the twins DNA test results......And realised that the BRZ is related to the FRS!! She is puzzled and about to request a retest.

I can't take pictures due to contractual/security reasons but Office Space sums up what my work place looks like.

And holy shit, those cubicle walls look exactly like the ones at work, except we can make eye contact with our coworkers while sitting down.

I play with transformers. They are some moody bastards.

I was part of the preplanning for my team's event 'Smoke alarm blitz' investigating and installing Smoke Detectors in as many houses as possible.

Oh, twins are a special problem. We have to double and triple check to make sure we are reporting the correct results for the correct baby. It has not happened during my time with DSHS, but I am certain that this mistake has been made at some point in time. It causes a lot of problems.

If those are results for OUR twins, then she is confused because the FR-S and BRZ don't have any DNA. :D

Actually, this young woman is super nice and very funny. She also has a world class butt. If I were single and 25, I would be trying to date her for sure.

Mostly show. 5lbs max boost or so, but it'll still give you a decent kick in the pants.

Oh, wow. I'd call that go. One of my neighbors is a retired guy with a bunch of classic street rods. I learned from him that most of the old roots blowers we see are just empty.

It was like learning about Santa Claus all over again.

Edit for content of my part time job. Well, more of a hobby at this point, really. That is 105mm howitzer ammunition in the picture. Along with my stunning self. My first field exercise as a detachment commander. Was a ton of fun.
