Lets say I bought those side markers, what is involved with opening them and painting them black? I have done headlights before so is it the same thing or do you have to cut them open?

I honestly don't know I have never done it, I took it to a body shop to have them done but I'm assuming it's the same concept iv stern other threads about it.
