Interesting. With as little bump travel as these cars have, I'd probably have more peace of mind with trimmed bump stops. At least you'd get some of that bump travel back, seeing that these cars are very bump stop active even at stock ride height.
For what it's worth, the RCEs/Eibachs/TRDs all come with new, shorter bump stops, and basically every other lowering spring recommends trimming bump stops. It's curious to me that STI didn't recommend trimming the bump stops with the pinks.
