and the front fenders are a little like rx8 (im not complaining tho, rx8s are still awesome looking cars IMO, hence why i bought one :p)
but if mazda doesnt get their arse in to gear and finish with the 16x and make the next itteration (hopefully turboed with 2 doors this time) i will DEFIANTLY be getting the 86 (right now its 95% yes, pending what mazda do)

If you stuck the two concepts side by side, I would be the one to think the FT-86 II was the concept and the FT-86 (first version) was the production model. Exterior wise I mean. The II looks more radical of a concept than the first one.




You missed my edit above your post, but I have a different opinion on the RX8....lol. I just hope the 86 has more going for it than the RX8. I am not much of a low torque-high reving guy.

can set it up with good offset... Will clean up some of the strong lines in the

arch flares atleast.. They have certainly killed the awesome looking tail lights & rear end..

White with a carbon firbe bonnet and difusers, dumped, 25mm widening kit, and some Black 18inch Volks would be pure sex.....

How much you wanna bet it will be at or above the price of a base genesis coupe with a N/A 2.0l? Also by the time this drops the Gencoupe will be getting 40-50 more hp. This car is for the miata/civic Si crowd but I was hoping it would branch over into the territory of mid 20k sports coupes.

I actually think the tail lights are awesome! I also like the head lights, the aggressive front fender arch, the...WHOLE FREAKIN CAR! If it looks like this I will totally buy it!
