thanks guys for telling me about the black friday sale...urged to buy headers....rising.....rising.........

Ace and PTUNING headers will get you the result you're looking for... if you're willing to fork over +$1000.

But if you're not willing to fork over that much, like Alltezza stated, go with Gruppe-S or TOMEI UEL

& for all other header options, check here: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=81491

The problem is, I'm entirely clueless as to which header will provide me with the most WHP gains for the lowest amount of money. So, ft86club members, which header would you buy for the most bang for your buck, and why?

I recently picked up the gruppe-s UEL headers. Coming from the open flash headers,I can honestly say it fees just as good if not better than OFH.

They're worth it at $475, as long as you get a tune ( I use vishnu's OFT ) a bunch of people are letting theirs go for $400 which in my opinion is more than reasonable.

Only thing is, I can't back up the longevity of them. I've only had them a week, so I guess I'll find out sooner or later.

I was looking around for a vendor and the cheapest I could find was $525. Where's everyone getting their deal on the gruppe-s? And does anyone have anything to say about their longevity?

Also, how is the OFH? Is it a good value?

@Gruppe-s

I run borla and love them. Quality is sub par though but the price was right when I got them. I will be selling them one day and getting somthing better

PM them directly. Gruppe-S is one of our vendor here.

i've had my tomei on for about 10000 miles and the craftmenship is top notch, i see no reason that any issues will be had. (and the grupp-s has the same quality as the tomei)

OFH doesn't have the nicest collector. I'd stick to grupp-s, tomei or jdl.

Lolol without mentioning supporting mods this post is wildly misleading.

Usually posts with my signature. I disagree with your statement, I didn't say "it gave me to 370whp" or anything similar to that. For clarity's sake OP I'm at 370whp, and its working fine for me.

How essential is the thermal wrapping on the JDL? A lifetime warranty does sound pretty nice.

If you plan on more modification like supercharging, or stepping up to blastin e85 in, definitely wrap that header. hell do it anyway.

I just realized that it was you that hit 370whp on the JRSC, damn I never would have thought that you achieved that with the Gruppe header, damn I've never been more happy with my purchase now. That number was achieved with E85 and the high boost pulley right?

Yes, that is me and yes, that was with the JR charger, E85, high boost pulley, and Gruppe-S headers.

Bob at Drift Office had great results as well!
