Yeah, I was looking for something subtle, and the Yaris sedan didn't have much to choose from. Everything looked, ummm, too rice for me. The garage door liner was simple enough to where it looked factory.

It does not. I used both 3M tape, and drilled into the factory lip every 3 to 4 inches using self tapping screws and washers. Held up for years, even when scraped along driveways and speed bumps. Lol

Read through that
If an item or listing infringes on your intellectual property rights, you can report the alleged infringement by submitting a Notice of Claimed Infringement (NOCI) to eBay's VeRO program. The NOCI is located here.
Also read through this: http://pages.ebay.com/help/policies/image-text.html
^^FOLLOW THOSE DIRECTIONS!^^

Report it for use of intellectual property without permission
eBay takes that more seriously, and do this with every listing on eBay that uses your cars picture, a seller on eBay MUST
have permission from the rights owner or creator before you use the following:
  • Stock photos and text
  • Information from product packaging
    • It's usually OK to use information such as measurements, weight, or other item specifications that are necessary to describe the item that you simply can't say any other way. However, you should avoid using any other text from product packaging unless you have permission from the owner to do so.
  • Other eBay Users photos or descriptions
  • Photos and text copied from websites
  • Scans from catalogs or advertisements

Also find the sources where the photos were pulled from and DON'T DELETE THEM FROM THE SITES YET! You're gonna need that as evidence for the NOCI ebay claim

Yeah, I can't imagine it looking good on the FR-S. There are only a couple lip kits that I actually like for the FR-S.

That part isn't a mystery.
I am pretty sure that this forum accounts for about 80% of the pictures of the Twins on the internet about 60% of the "undisclosed expert opinion" quotes of the click bait sites.

There is nothing you can do unfortunately. I went through this in the past with another car. It sucks that they were using my pictures but ebay was useless. I tried contacting the seller and they did nothing.

It sucks.

I plan on slapping some almost naked anime girls on my car, no one will want to steal the pictures once that happens.

Impureclient 11-02-2015 10:06 AM

This seems to be a lot of concern for just using a picture of a car. Who/what exactly does this hurt?

No but it may push the percentage of pics for the forum up to 82%!

I agree. If it was mine I would be more like "Hey look somebody likes my car enough to use it for advertising". To make build your car up enough that it stands out from the crowd and then complain when it shows up seems counterintuitive to me.

Frs x3 11-02-2015 10:45 AM

Kinda surprised no one has asked this yet or maybe I'm missing something, but how do you know for sure it is your car?
