I fabbed an FP doughnut gasket adapter for this J2 pipe from a scrapped exhaust:
http://i174.photobucket.com/albums/w...FF6B4A5F73.jpg Little to long: but will not interfere with fitment: http://i174.photobucket.com/albums/w...7D1A310D05.jpg I didnt realize how much longer the J2 pipe was: http://i174.photobucket.com/albums/w...D1D44D8ECF.jpg At least a good 1.5" longer from eyeballing, 2" with the adapter added: http://i174.photobucket.com/albums/w...91DF2E85AE.jpg The old crusty: http://i174.photobucket.com/albums/w...BBF0FFBE60.jpg New gaskets: http://i174.photobucket.com/albums/w...EBB7345EE8.jpg Installed and checked for leaks: http://i174.photobucket.com/albums/w...6213B2E0E2.jpg FP with new gaskets and adapter fist log: http://datazap.me/u/solidone/stg1-fp...mark=6730-6703 Horrendous "knock," topped out at -5 flkc... All that work for even more "knock" If I torque down the hardware any more stuff is going to start getting twisted and bolts will stretch or break... |
Looks like the best place for that pipe is the bin.
Stock or any other catted FP the correct size would be best bet. |
