Maybe going into debt like I did with buying car parts lol. The beauty of working in the oil and gas industry, expecting work to come and then having a super late start to the summer survey season. Ah well, paid off after my next pay. Cest la vie

What's the deal with the whole Oil industry lately? They say companies are struggling in Alberta, yet gas in Ontario is still expensive :bonk:

I went to school with now about 11-15 people all in oil and gas, so maybe I'm a bit jaded haha

Specific to Alberta, the cost of extracting oil is higher than places like Saudi Arabia on a per barrel basis. That is, the amount of profit they can make is less. That's why they are struggling.
