I remember reading about how Tada-san said the FT86 was more of a FWD design and not a RWD. That's why they had to modify the exterior a lot more than the concept.

Like the one in the image above? Most definitely. Stock halogen FR-S headlights have too much chrome. Same with the taillights, but I'm planning on redding those out soon anyway.

Yeah like the ones in those pics. But I agree with you, the FRS have too much chrome. I wonder how they would look if they were more of a brushed nickel finish. I think that would look pretty decent on all car colors. But yeah you can't go wrong with a black housing either

And yeah a lot of people on either already have or are planning on tinting/wrapping their lights to make them smoked or redded.

How long do you think Development will take once you figure out the direction you are going to go?

Im guessing Probably 3 months. seems like that's an average time to go to design to fabrication. I'm sure there will be multiple iterations to test fit and make sure all the electricals up to snuff and functioning properly

Yeah, I loved everything about the FT-86 and that's what caught many of our eyes. It was just a very simple yet aggressive look and that's what I thought it would become until I saw the MKII and had to SMH for a moment. When I play GT5, I still drive the FT86 over the GT86.

I don't mind the FR-S b/c it is what it is but I think Dezi messed it up. I mean, look at the dude! He looks like an 80's rock star who is still stuck in the 80's. :bellyroll:
