I have always used DDM Tuning's HID kits. They have a lifetime warranty and cost $50 for a 55w kit. I have had them in my MR2 for almost three years now with zero problems.

Does the 55w ballast consider to create too much heat for the housing projector for this car or should I take 35w to be safer ?

The 35W will give you more light than you can use, are you trying to spot caribou at a mile?
