Paid $2.58 a gallon for 93 at Costco in Frederick this afternoon.
Regular has crept up from $1.97 to about $2.34 in the last 3-4 weeks but holding steady there. |

If by assholes you mean the USW then yes, it has gone up. The prices aren't related to OPEC or anything else going on over in the sand lot, it's all stateside at the refineries.

Stations have to mirror prices otherwise the guy that sets his price $.05 cheaper will run out before he gets his next scheduled delivery. Gasoline is a finite local resource so stations are generally allocated only so much per delivery. The price hike on 93 is gouging. The wholesale price of 93 is not $.30 more than the wholesale price of 87. I'd be shocked if it's much more at all. |
