Is tech stream the Toyota scanner? I'm only familiar with stis which is subarus procedures and tech data site

Techstream is the software toyota techs use. Allows access to all control units not just ECU ie BIU ect for diagnostics and tests, can also log many engine parameters, view and clear current and stored ecu/biu/trac/VSC CEL codes and set a few options like seatbelt chimes ect on/off, basicly anything the toyota guys can do minus programming in new dash/imobiliser/ecu modules unfortunately.

Dumb question but does it work with the brz. In my experience with factory tools it makes u pull the vin before navigating the tool.
