Lol, so even at max everything, 2000cc I imagine would cover it? 2000cc gonna be anymore difficult to tune with than 1000cc?

because turbo(s) so big, you need an aviation license for that jet...er i mean "car".

Yes, jet turbine

It may be a little big for your goals. If those 900s are DW injectors, Id advise you against getting injectors from DW. Everyone I know with DW injectors has had nothing but problems.

What do u recommend?

I like IDs, however FICs are great too

Don't know exactly what I'm gonna do, may do some crazy stuff down the road and wouldn't want to have to swap out again.

From my understanding, there is a minimum pulse width that injectors can run. So they're always squirting at 1000cc/min, you just leave them open less time to dump less fuel. I'd guess that for the 5000cc/min injectors even at the smallest pulse width you'd be swallowing a ton of fuel or have really unpredictable fuel flow.

After typing out the above comment I took to google to make sure I wasn't spewing non-sense and found a fantastic article. Check this out.

Same experience here...

I recommend ID's too, very consistent.

Yea their pumps are great but they dropped the ball on those injectors, always having little issues

BirgeyT1 06-04-2015 10:12 PM

Glad to see you guys like ID's! But I may be partial ;)

The only little annoying thing about ID's is they are a taller injector, which makes longer bolts and spacers a necessity...and then the injector covers are a tight fit. Just a FYI.

If you go with the ID850's it's not an issue since they use the compact body but, yes, the ID1000's do require fuel rail spacers.

Sportsguy83 06-05-2015 03:31 PM

I'll take taller injectors and spacers any and every day over oem fit injectors that aren't consistent. One day they behave X way, 2 days later they behave Y way and are hard to tune.

Just another point of view.

afishl1 06-05-2015 09:59 PM

Are the fic injectors taller/need spacers?
