In any case it is still more likely that Scion is just getting a rebadged sedan version of this. If there was a sedan 86 being made, it would be global news/rumors from Toyota and Subaru, not just Scion in North America. |
The dude at my local dealer has as much credibility as anyone, and he has said the FR-S goes away in 16. YR(umours)MayVary.

Wasn't Scion saying that they were going to use a car derived from a Mazda2 chassis? I don't have the link, but that seems like a likely candidate.

A Fr-s Sedan with AWD isn't that a subaru impreza?

Holy crap! What a nice looking sedan ^^

The new FR-S will be a a Scion-badged LFA. Said that many times.

It's not a Scion FR-S sedan.

It is a Mazda 2 based sedan that will be built in Mexico. This has pretty much been confirmed.
As an aside, I'd love an FR-S based sedan. I'd want a turbo 4 in that, though. I don't see that happening because the WRX exists and this country seems convinced that you need AWD on everything. Sent from Tandy 400 |
I'd like a 2 seater FR-S same engine, less weight...more fun!! :P
I don't care about the higher insurance. |
