It's said only straight men and homosexual women. Is that right, Toyota?

So,

I never followed concept cars much all the way to the full production design. Typically, how much changes from the concept design? Will we still get a cool looking car, or is it gonna end up to be a 2012-2013 scion tc? :brokenheart:

^ Take a look at the Lexus LFA to answer that. The FT seems pretty close to doable though (excluding maybe the slightly weird headlights), I doubt they will change it too much. The concept LFA was pretty far out there - They almost nailed the back, but really the front was too complex to make it to production.

With all this talk about how its gonna come out as a scion in the US. arent we gonna have to wait til it gets to the US to see the badge at the next major auto show?...

Next NA major autoshow? I gave up on waiting for Toyota to show it in the US already. It takes them so long just to show one little coupe here. However, we maybe see a near production car some times next year here in the state.

I think it will be in the next NY autoshow..i will go if it comes

I have a couple of questions that hopefully someone here can answer.
1. Is the G Sport coming out the same time as the Ft-86? "Late 2011"
2. What's going to be the $ range for the G Sport?

thanks.

From my point of view, it's highly possible that G model with come at least 6months to a year later after NA model release.
Expect Turbo model to be priced at least 4K over NA.

This is what would make sense, but we have not heard anything from Toyota reguarding either. I don't remember if it was someone who said it, or some article, stating that Toyota didn't plan on releasing the G's model in the US.

Now that I think about it, I think it was another article just about G's, saying that they were not coming to America. So that might mean we will get a turbo model that looks exactly the same as the rest of the line, it might be that the FR-S will bring G's to America, and turn it into the new TRD/Nismo equivilant, or a whole ton of other things. At this point with the amount of information Toyota has released on this car, or lack there of, theres almost no way of knowing. These are all the things I can think of that could happen.

Personal opinion (read: what I think will happen), what Dark said.

It has been a strategy for Toyota. They always keep their trump card for the last, and Yeah.. I agree that it's possible that we will get TRD instead of G since G's line is JDM only, and we have no word that they will expand it internationally.
