I am just collecting data, since my MPG is 19.8 which is terrible. I shift at 2000-2500... Anyways thanks

I am having the same problem and everyone keeps telling me on how to increase my mpg from driving habits but that's not the problem it's something with the car. Mine is stock, I drive low rpms all of the time, and I still don't know what's wrong with it.

Depends. 2/3 of the time, between 3 and 4k rpms and varied engine loads.

Engine load =/= RPMs, by the way. Huge thing to know when trying to figure out fuel usage in the system

I will try that, I don't have any load.

Not cargo load- engine load. In laymen's terms, engine load may be described as the demand placed upon an engine for power. That's an incomplete definition as it relates to automobiles. RPM is not a good indicator of engine load. I won't get into the concepts and perspectives about it all for the sake of simplicity on this thread.

Side note, If you're going into ME/Civil, and specifically working with engines or generators (power industry, like my pa!) then this is a very important concept to know and become affluent with.

What do you mean You People?

How hard can you make an MPG thread.

My car gets much less mileage than the typical FR-S, but I don't feel like telling you anything more.

Affluent?

Was crossing up competent with its fiscal relative, ha.

Agreed. Being affluent is advantageous in almost any circumstance.
Bragging about it only works in the US, by the way.
