This was on top of LAC+USC medical center. The guy who hit my car is a doctor there.

Nah. I am with the PDR crowd on this one. As long as there is no paint damage we just can't see in the pic a good PDR guy will have that done in a jiffy.

i hope you are kidding? if you knew how easy the metal on these door stretches, and the fact that its creased at the intrusion bar that runs from top front to bottom rear of the door you would know that there is no way that is coming out. ive actually repaired, and replaced a few doors on these cars. also creased at the upper horizontal bar thats just above the handle from front to back

Never fixed one and never will so I will have to take your word for it.
Have seen far worse that that fixed by PDR on here though. Doubt there is too much stretch as the paint looks ok (in the pic at any rate) Mind you I don't think any of the others went across the bar like that.

yeah, once the metal gets creased around the bar or inner structure its glued to it starts to stretch out in the center of the dent. if it was popped out, id say that there will be a crease left diagonally from top left to bottom right that wont come out, and horizontally right above the handle.

insurance will write
door shell
paint door shell + underside
r+i fender garnish, blend fender
r+i quarter glass, blend quarter

i just kind of quick wrote it in my estimating software since im sitting at my computer in the office. i wrote $1500

I just had my 10 series fixed and my sister in law just had hers as well, both were paint matched perfectly and we were surprised/happy. We did some research and picked a collision company that was across the US, and they didn't disappoint.
