One of the dealer techs who rode along has an FRS and he claims his makes the same noise but that they cant figure out why and the other dealer tech (head mechanic) claims its normal noise from the driveshaft despite it being a new noise after 1.5 years of ownership. They both seemed mystified when I mentioned the CV joint.

Are there any other dealerships around your area that you can go to? If not, then perhaps writing a strongly worded email to Scion/Toyota Corporate about your dealership's blatant denial of warranty service might give them the right kick in the behind. It's worked for others! |
