Punctuation marks, please! It's very hard to read your posts.
I highly suggest taking it to an autocross event. Hitting cones will do much less damage than flying into a ditch. Or even worse, hitting someone else. Winning will really come down to the driver. A highly experienced driver can whoop you in a 1995 Civic DX all day if you have no experience. |

Check to see what your co-workers driving experiences are. If he goes on canyon runs, race tracks, or auto-cross regularly, then don't race him. He will beat you no matter what car. If he has little to no experience, then take the $500 challenge. It would be a lot of fun. |

Ok basically, what I'm saying is: If you've never really raced a car before or driven your FR-S at its limits, then you're probably not going to win this race of yours. The FR-S is not a fast car to begin with, so it takes quite some skill and experience to make it go fast. You may think you know how to drive it fast, but chances are you're not gonna be ready when your rear-end slides out on you. I just don't want you crashing your new car into a tree because some dude talked smack about your car (get used to it). If you want to challenge him at autocross, then go ahead. It'll be fun, but just don't be surprised if you have to shell out the 5-hundo. |
