Fantastic area under the curve!!

I can't help but wonder with the HP curve being so flat on top that the car would feel like it stopped pulling..

As HP is a function of HP=(TQ x RPM)/5252 in order for HP to stay constant as RPM increases torque would have to drop off quickly.

I also noticed you are running more PSI over the RPM band, could this explain the gain in 18whp peak and increased area under the curve?

Are these cams intended to spool big turbos early as opposed to top end power?

Any plans for NA cam packages or testing?

Look at it in relation to stock.... The slope of the hp curve is drastically improved even though torque may be dropping off at these massive airflow levels.

As always great results and beautiful parts! Crazy how the whole powerband kicks in sooner.

Yes the increase is most likely from the boost level. I can see this setup working well on most turbo setups.

Not right now but we might test some NA stuff.

I will do unspeakable things to swap this motor into an FRS for me and call it my own...feel free to pm for details, lol

Couple of questions:
1; Testing is done using a built long block. Is there any reason why this head package cannot be used on a stock block.
2: Does the increase in lift/duration make the motor an interference motor? (I'm not actually sure if stock fa20 is already an interference motor)
3: Will the sale of this product be offered on a core exhange basis, to minimise down time?
4: Is all varible valve timing and such retained with this package, so that low rpm drivability and economy is minimally effect?

Colour me interested by the way.

their website says they will require a core otherwise its a $1500 charge for the core.

Edit: did a quick search if the fa20 was an interferance motor and came up with this thread;

There is no reason why you cannot use it on a stock motor. Stock rods are a hit or miss. It would be crappy to have an oem rod let go and destroy everything up top.

2: Does the increase in lift/duration make the motor an interference motor? (I'm not actually sure if stock fa20 is already an interference motor)

Stock pistons could have interference issues but we have not yet confirmed this. It will clear every aftermarket pistons out there. (Builder should always check)

We advise all customers to let us clearance and shim everything for them. These heads can be tricky to get right.

Yes, cores are already in the works. We have been selling this head package without cams for awhile.

Yes it is
