when you hear "I thought that was a scion" 15 times a day.

1) when everyone you meet asks how the AWD works
2) you routinely see people almost getting into wrecks trying to see and take cell phone pics of your car
3) you get excited when it rains, because the car is SUPER fun in the rain

That sounds kind of scary... in an urban/suburban area anyway.

When you look down on the scion despite it being fundamentally the same car

-You've learned more about maritime traffic and shipping channels than how the car actually drives
-You're willing to wait on the phone for 20 minutes a day every day in the hopes that you have a VIN number, just to be let down and call back tomorrow.

-You have to explain that "no, it's not AWD. No, it's non-turbo" to EVERYONE.

-You care more about driving ENJOYMENT than outright speed

-You're thrilled to be able to buy a sub-3,000lb, supremely-balanced sports car that still comes with heated seats, navigation, HID's, automatic climate control, and keyless access!

-You see a Genesis, 370Z or Mustang and make "OINK OINK" piggy noises, or shout "BEEFCAKE! BEEFCAKE!"

-You're glad your car looks like this:
