Has there been actual wind tunnel testing of this diffuser? Or it this a case of "it looks good so it must work"? I remember reading an article about diffusers on F1 cars, and the amount of work that went into the design was mind boggling.

Plucas works for an aerodynamics company. If he's made a diffuser, then it's had math applied to it.

edit @plucas, question for you. Most functional splitters I've seen (observational experience only) have the front blade connected to the bumper via turnbuckles, I assume for support and adjustability. Is that not required with the FT-86SF splitter? |
