We need to modify the already good in stock form snorkel yall lol.
Gonna get 5whp with this alone, now add a KN drop in filter, another 5! 10whp gain!!!

Difficult to see, but I did the Short snorkel mod, cleaned the edges nice and smooth and ran a (old) intake K&N air pipe from the bottom of the bumper to the snorkel.
Kinda like the Zeek snorkel but more ghetto style.
If you don't know where to look you don't see it really.

Don't notice any real changes, a little bit more growl but nothing worth noticing.
I don't track my car so I just did it because I can :D

I need a setup like this. I have a trd intake myself.
Was going to get the hks, but yours looks huge!

Its not really worth it. No real gains. Just more noise.

No, I haven't gotten to it yet, instead of traditional bumper removal practices, a kind old lady decided to help me out with the side of her SUV. Waiting for repairs to be done first.

I don't suppose you have a photo of it taken in daylight?

Any gains might not show up on a dyno due to not being able to replicate at-speed airflow, but the engine certainly felt more willing to rev and smoother at higher RPMs.

I would love to see someone dyno test the snorkel mods though...

I like your solution @Kostamojen! I have the vortech and have been thinking of getting the HKS duct. Seeing what you did looks promising. The stock snorkle opening surely is a choke point for the supercharger.
