I hope that was sarcasm.

Why don't you just download OpenOffice?

In typical Japanese fashion, you'll probably see a new color or some trim changes. I can't imagine there will be any major changes in the first 4 our 5 years. Just look at the Miata. It's been out for 25 years and is only on it's third generation.

Its not an s, on racecar world it means hope.

Well, at least it's something. Gives me a (almost) definite month to target for my purchase. Thanks! :)

For those lurking this thread and looking for the play by play: looks like pictures are up in OP. Thanks!

Oh no not sarcasm. The new STI BRZ will have the 2.0s 260hp engine!

FJ Cruiser : discontinued

So all the new Monogram owners will have a year older car 2-3 months after delivery. It might be worthwhile to pick up a leftover Monogram at a discount in July.

Subie gets Sti and Scion gets TRD, should be some fun new interchangeable parts available soon.

Sad about FJ Cruiser. I've owned a couple and it's the most capable, fun, practical SUV in the fleet, especially in M/T flavor with the full-time 4X4 system out of Prado.

I hope nobody was expecting some miraculous new engine or more power for the 2015. It's obvious that it wasn't coming this year since there hasn't been any leaks in regards to new engines or production.

However, I'm sure we'll get some minor aesthetics package for the Scion one too. Every year they have to have a "limited production" one that has HIDs and some other stuff from the top spec GT86.

So in May all the questions of "Should I wait for the 2016 model with the HP increase?" start?

The twins had to make a major power play in this their 3rd year which is when new models (especially sports cars) either drop off or "make-it". The sales will literally plummet as a result of the new gen Mustang and Stinger just being on the market. The 18 month buyers have already been dropping off this platform (not waiting) and expect a substantial amount of owners to bail on the twins when Mustang inventory hits peak. Trying to pick back up the pace for 2016 will just crush the car because optimally they'd have to wait until 2017 to get the 18 monthers back from Ford & Kia. I know that for myself I'll be ready for a big money car by 2017; I could possibly wait until 2016 but not if I try one of the others.

I don't know who's running the marketing over at the Toyobaru project but they need to be fired. The only hope here is for a half year/early 2016 model to come right as the others hit peak inventory. Especially if it's a single trim level upgrade, because people will have a greater trust in a model already being produced (think of how many, it's a first year car threads we've had). *2 cents*
