^It's not the first review that talked about BRZ being very stiff in the city. And a second one I came across today.

Sigh, another report of how stiff it is around town. Hope there are some decent shocks available right off the bat.

Am I the only one who looks forward to a stiff ride? Not sure why this is really a complaint.

I don't need the back seat! I'm gonna lay it down flat for my trunk expansion!

If it's STI stiff, it'll likely be too stiff for your non-enthusiast driver.

Interesting. If I can get some seat time with the car prior to taking delivery, I will have to take a hard look at this potential issue. Still, if the rest of the hype is true, then the ride quality would have to be really piss-poor for me not to take delivery of the car.

The ride is stiff, but not abusive. Think "Firmly Attached" to the road. Like a firm BMW.

Interesting, in the details section he says "Subaru says just over $25,000 PLUS shipping, which is how they arrived at the almost 26k price tag for the Premium once it's said and done. Sounds like the closest estimate we'll get for price for now. I'm gonna say 25,200 plus destination, my bet is on 25,900 for the Premium.

Also great to hear that the car felt fast to him.

In that case it's gonna be too stiff to be a DD for a 40+ enthusiast too. Nothing a good set of Ohlins can't fix, but still....

Thanks for the scan, MannyO! Great review.

I suppose it also depends on road quality you drive on.

Yea, please make the 6th gear longer when the refresh is due. Lower the rpm to 22-2300 @ 60, thanks.

Disconnect or pinch off the acoustic tube for long trips.

I'm thinking most complaints are due to the intake tube. It's probably the best and most recent example of factory rice.
