I didn't really want to post them because I didn't want the 2 cars I'm interested, which are in stock, to sell before I got a chance to put money on one.

Santa Monica is my front runner. They seem like nice guys, were willing to deal a little. Plus its a nice day trip up there to see friends.
Ontario said yesterday that they got 8 in and might be willing to deal.
Irvine was willing to deal as well.

If you are looking for the best price Heuberger in CO and Lithia in NV still haven't been beat as far as I can tell.

At this point the strategy I've used is:
-Ask for quote (be specific on what you want).
-Say quote is too high and I'm willing to fly to CO/NV and get I can get X price from them (again be specific with what the other dealer is offering (trim, transmission, add-ons).
-Dealer comes back with a price. Verify that this is an out the door price (including documentation fee...which is another word for markup...and is usually $300-$400). So, far these prices, for me, have been a little higher than the CO/NV prices but not unreasonable.
-Decide if you like that price or tell them you are probably going to fly. They may come back with a lower price or may say that they can sell it easily in a week or two (which is probably true).

I try to do a lot of this in email...so, it is written down. Also, sometimes the internet salespeople can get better deals. Not sure why, but sometimes they can.

Also the normal dealership experience stuff applies:
-Say no to the finance/upsell guy on everything.
-Bring your own pre-approval check from your bank, but don't let them know you have it until you agree on price.
-Read all the paperwork you sign before you sign it.
-Don't be emotional. It's business.
-Ask them not to drill holes for the license plate.
-Ask them not to wash the car.

I recommend you join the CO>CA cartel and buy from Clint. His pricing can't be beat

Try Subaru Pacific in Torrance. Speak to Tom. I spoke to him on behalf of a friend, and it seemed like he's willing to deal below MSRP.

I bought my WRB MT BRZ Premium from Irvine Subaru on July 5th. Got it for $26,098 + tax & license. The website at the time had it listed for $26,598. They were pretty easy to deal with, I had no issues.

I like them as well. The only thing they have that I'm remotely interested in is the wrb premium. The rest are auto or limited or white.

Santa Monica has 2 black ones. If I'm reading their site right though, they put the limited spoiler on both of them. Might have to switch that out with a Carsmo or TRD one in the future (they are the only ones I know of that cover the factory holes).

Clint's prices are ridiculous. A limited from him is probably cheaper than a premium in California.

All I see in this thread is cali dealers might be willing to deal under msrp. Clint goes under invoice. Waiting does suck though.

Puente Hills Subaru has several WRB Limited in stock. However they're the same dealer that wanted a $3k markup as recently as last month.

FWIW.

Car sold....check cleared

My current dilemma is slightly cheaper at Santa Monica with the spoiler in black or slightly more expensive in DGM without the spoiler.
