My opinion on this would be to try and do them both at the same time. If not, just get the wheels, but the wheel gap will probably bug you till you get springs. ...and vice versa if you get springs first.

My bad, I did go thinking on the performance side of things. on my point of view, if I change parts on my car I want them to be better than what I have.

Most people who do wheels opt for 18" wheels which are better looking than 17"s, and still cheaper than 19" wheels... and getting Tires is a part of getting Wheels that have a larger diameter. So we might as well give advice on tires. If you are doing wheels, you might as well buy a good set of tires. There are other cheaper alternatives to the ones I suggested.

Springs is a way cheaper alternative than wheels. but if you do springs alone, then the small wheel looks ridiculous (even if you do change your wheel design). So you might as well do both. Springs are cheap compared to getting wheels + tires.

About dropping the car to get better looks, it bugs some people who do it, and others are just ok with it. I went for larger wheels (my stocks were 16", not everyone worldwide gets the 17" as standard), and will probably do a full suspension change later on. I could get springs now, but then I might as well save up and get the full suspension setup (which already gets me the springs).
