Well, his response was a simple eyeroll. He really didn't have much to say, and I'm not sure he's convinced. He is a die hard Ford Mustang fan, but he does like the look, fit, and finish of the FR-S.
I'm really curious to know where he came up with the idea that the entire body was fiberglass. Perhaps the curved fenders? It's actually a compliment in a way, as maybe he thinks it's too exotic looking to be made of sheet metal.
I remember being his age and being sure about things. The only reason I decided to debate the issue was that he was being a bit condescending when he said, "Trust me." Also, if in fact the car WAS fiberglass, I didn't want to argue that it wasn't.
One thing about getting older (44 now) is that you learn to allow for the possibility that you could be wrong, even if you don't believe that you are. Helps keep your foot out of your mouth.
