I've left my car with HID's parked in front of my house and then hoped in my civic to go around the block back at my own car so I can see what other drivers experience. HID kit's in our car's stock lights are not a problem. I'd stick with 35 Watt one though, they are plenty bright.

I won't get in a cripple fight with people who claim it's unsafe. My opinion is that it's just fine and I've checked it out myself.

Form your own opinion, these kit's are only $30 to try it for yourself. It's not much money to see for yourself. I'm glad I did :)

Oh, you haven't had issues with people flashing you? That must mean your headlights are safe and legal. FMVSS 108 must have a little-known clause in the back that says "As an alternative to analyzing, testing, and certifying lights as safe and legal, you can also just slap something together and drive it around, and if no one flashes you, they're approved" :laughabove:

Lol, don't be a tard. I never said anything about them being "legal" or "approved.". They are MUCH better than stock for light output. That's what I needed

I just looked at the kits and they look really nice. Even come in a little metal briefcase. How tough is the install for someone who is very very average cranking on cars and modding stuff.... Is everything included in the kit or did you make a trip to home depot or lowes for extra screws, tape, mounting hardware, etc....

I mount the ballasts with 1" wide 3M velcro. Clean the back of the ballast and your flat mounting position with some mineral water or rubbing alcohol first then stick everything together. I used a heat gun on the ballasts and mounting spot to make sure I got good adhesion. As for the wires, I initially bundled and neatly ziptied to the body on the run between ballast and headlight. I've since found some extra large heat-shrink tubing, rebundled and sealed everything up.

The Kensun kits don't require a battery relay so the kits are totally PnP...if you can take the factory bulb out, you can install this kit.

I have a plug and play HID kit from DistantXtremes (FR-S HID System XE+ Premium 35w Ultra Slim 6000KLow Beam H11) and I love it. I was getting flashed at first, but then I took 5 minutes and pushed down the squirrel finders in the housing and haven't had any issues since (makes the cut off much better).

buy these for your low beam:

And these for high beam:

There are two parts to be slightly trimmed on H9 bulbs, and one little spot on the 9011 bulb. Takes about 5 min or less to do each pair. Both of these bulbs are significantly brighter than the stock bulbs and don't have any stupid tint or anything. Do everyone else a favor and stay away from those awful pnp kits.
