... I must really be a simpleton lol I kinda like the set up they have now it's quite simple and doesn't require much thought to work. hmm but one thing does concern me, the place to mount your on nav, i've been inside a BRZ and there's not much space for a port nav to sit I'm not a fan of sticking it up on the glass it's kinda annoying lol.

In addition, I have a soft spot for Subaru in my heart. More so than Scion. But that point has been discussed to death. I just like the BRZ better overall.

i coundnt say it better than myself... i concur sir!!!

Like most have said. The interior was my deciding factor. Center console in the FRS is straight fugly. However I do like the front bumper on the FRS a lil more than the BRZ. the headlights on the BRZ are also a lot better.

You folks do know the BRZ premium and the frs have the exact same interior except the BRZ has silver trim and a nav and the frs has black trim and the bespoke infotainment system.

Actually the black trim looks better than the fake silver trim.

Both have the same exact dash material.

Now the limited BRZ is higher quality inside because of the leather/alcantara seats, leather padded door panels, dual zone ac with push start button.

Actually the BRZ Premium has different cloth seats compared to the FRS.

could you plz post a pic? never realised that... like FR-S vs Premmy BRZ

...

On my part, I love hids (stock ones, not aftermarket)... but overall, i prefer the brz look... to my eye, it looks less "childish" than the fr-s... Anyways... I'd buy any of them, just waiting to see the price difference

Isn't the nav come standard in BRZ premium and limited? If so, why would you need to mount a nav?

That said, I do agree with you that with the FR-S bespoke system, it is difficult to mount a nav through the hooks of air vent. The GPS will block the stereo.

... I have always wanted a Subaru.... and a good looking RWD sports coupe

Ah I was talking about the FRS, Nav is no problem like you say on the BRZ. I'm actually taking about the Garmin units, you see you can't stick them to the dash because the suction cup wont work and I don't like sticking it on the window because it becomes hard to reach. It's a really long reach because in the FRS and BRZ youre going to sit back alittle from my experience of sitting in it, reaching up to the dash require you to move in the seat compromising that driver's position. It's not safe to reach up and change directions and stuff while driving and you don't always have the option to wait because you might get lost or need traffic info or somthing.

So it becomes a problem as you can't put a nav, there it will block the airvent if you do the screen type aftermarket unit. The only solution is getting an IPAD holder or something mounted from the passenger side ground, but that could get in the way of the shifter.

So... yeah you can see the pedicament.... of course you could just mount it on the glass and hope that you never have to press to change direction while driving. It's alittle hard to describe... hope... err people understand what I'm getting at here. Then again it might not be a problem at all to be honest, because every car will have this problem with the little nav units. I had the same problem in a Miata and a 370z ;/ so yeah.. I guess it's not really an issue afterall.. I think

Yeah, my GPS setup sucks. I just keep it on the seat behind me. I currently drive an Automatic so it's not the end of the world. But it might be the end of mine if I get a Manual and I'm still fiddling with a GPS on my seat in a new car. :P

i just prefer the look of the BRZ to that of the FR-S
however i do prefer the front bumper of the FR-S to that of the BRZ but both look good

I'll be honest and say that when I am looking for a car (won't be for a while), I will likely be a huge badge whore. Scion is a brand that practically markets itself as being cheap, and their idea of "customization" is quite frightening. I am not certain on what options are confirmed yet but if the FRS does not have HID option then that's a very good reason to go Subaru. All cars with HIDs that I've seen have slightly better visibility in the dark, and the white light looks cooler :P
