The chrome fender trim is a piece of plastic that you stick onto the body colored trim with adhesive tape.

The chrome fuel door cover is just a sticker. A very expensive sticker.

So, could I peel off the fuel door sticker with a heat gun?

Do the tabs snap/break during removal? I am ordering aero fin fender garnishes soon. However, if I want to go back to stock, can I put the original trim piece back in? Or do I have to find new tabs for all 6 spots?

From what I've seen on the internets people don't have much trouble putting these back in, unlike the side marker clips. You shouldn't have any trouble provided you are nice and careful
