RaceR is a Robot...I know it.

I've been busy and just got sick so I haven't been playing gt5 as much. I need a good seat/wheel set up because this movable chair I have is frustrating when I apply the brakes. :mad0259:

RaceR 01-03-2012 12:35 AM

I forgot saving the replay/ghost time. But im sure someone will beat it.. And when they do, Ill sure try again! ;)
Might try to improve it later in the month...
Got some Nordschleife times to set first..
It was not a perfect lap for me, braked a little to late for last chicane..

Check out this video for driving line (not mine)

Corner at 45 sec. cut just a little..
Corner at 47. sec your tires should touch the green parts..
Chicane at 1.20. you can probably cut more when exiting this chicane in practice mode with the GT86.

MF_DEUCE. I have some "sticky" thing under my pedals. Same stuff that people use for indoors posters on walls and stuff. Do not know the name of it.. Its kinda like chewing gum.. I have placed small pieces of it several places under my pedals.. Maybe you could use something like that on your chairs wheels to slow them down or something??

RaceR is damn fast. I know I'm my lap could be a lot cleaner, but that's the best for now.

Suzuka Circuit : 2:31.909

Its not the pedals that are moving. I just need a stationary chair, but the ones i have are too low or too high. lol

Jeff Lange 01-03-2012 10:31 AM

Perhaps I will attempt a few laps. I haven't driven the car much yet, except tuned/with racing tires. Perhaps I'll buy a stock one and give it a go.

Should do a Tsukuba Circuit one, it's much shorter, take less time lol.

Instructions for Sharing Replays via USB

Export
  1. After racing, hit the save ghost replay button
  2. Go to Replay Library and pick the file
  3. Hit Export Save Data
  4. Exit GT5
  5. Insert USB stick if you haven't yet
  6. Go to the Game column and choose Saved Data Utility (PS3) and choose the replay file
  7. Hit the Green triangle > Copy
  8. Choose the USB stick and hit X
  9. On your computer, copy and compress the entire PS3 > SAVEDATA > BCUS98114-RPL### folder path and attach it to your post
Import
  1. On your computer, download the attached ZIP file and extract it to the USB stick. If the folder path PS3 > SAVEDATA is missing, create it and put BCUS98114-RPL### in it.
  2. Insert USB stick into PS3
  3. In the PS3's main menu, go to the Games column and choose Saved Data Utility (PS3)
  4. Scroll to and select the USB drive
  5. Select the Replay file you want
  6. Hit the Green triangle and Copy
  7. Start GT5 and go to GT Mode
  8. Go to Replay Theater, hit Import (icon with little box and arrow), choose the file, and hit X
  9. Once it's imported, it'll be on your Replay list.
Notes:
  • The smallest file (PARAM.SFO) has the course, car, driver, and date in it.
  • Laptime, car, track, driver, and date are all listed when you select each file. Laptime shown in the replay itself is previous best, not time of the replay.
  • I can't load European replays on my USA PS3, so replays appear to be region specific. BCUS98114 = US, BCES00569 = Europe. If anyone knows a work-around, please post it.
  • See gtplanet for more details.
