I am debating doing my windshield. 70% is likely almost unnoticable as being tinted, but will provide UV protection for the interior and reduce heat build up on hot sunny days.

But, what worries me is night-time driving. Do you have any trouble seeing at night. I know it's only 70%, but still thats 30% LESS light getting through.

Any input is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

honestly from the inside out you cant tell the difference, just blocks oncoming traffics headlights, i live in the suburbs where it gets preeetty dark at night, the key here is using a high quality tint

45 on the sides will look very light outside during the day. Does the law over there allow no tint on those windows?

the sides only look light because of the light coming in through the front windshield, it actually looks pretty balanced, however i DID want to go a little bit more conservative considering i'm usually up to no good :party0030:

sounds like many things, you get what you pay for.

I'm glad your wincos are working out for you!!

I paid more for the better stuff too. What sold me was a demo of regular film and upgraded film with a heat lamp shining through it. The good stuff blocked almost all the heat (IR).

So, is tint on the front windshield legal in CA? It's not here in Md.

Is window tint on Aisle 4 or Aisle 5? :bellyroll:

So are you going to re-tint it every time a rock chips your windshield and you get it replaced? Might end up pretty expensive in the long run.
