Like I said if you are going to do something to revolutionize the muffler delete COOL, do it...I guess you were too busy being butt hurt to read that.

here's the deal ask for opinions you will get them...almost everytime...and you aren't gonna like them all so put on your big girl panties, and get over it.

you could have just as easily taken my comment as encouragement to revolutionize the muffler delete...or a challenge...attacking potential customers is probably not the best plan of action...your friend does a much better job of the whole "human interaction" bit...

Dude, no. Never once did I or anyone else for that matter think you were coming off as constructive. I treat everyone with respect. Do you really think that because you may be a potential customer that I have to bow down to you or something, especially after calling me "butt hurt" and putting on my "big girl panties"?

Its a muffler delete, not the cure for cancer. There's nothing revolutionary to it, you just make it the best you can. If results are great and people buy it, good. If not, oh well.

I think there would be a bigger market for an axleback like the Greddy SP Elite or Nameless but at a lower price. Yonaka was supposed to come out with one for around $400 but they disappeared off the forum months ago.
Maybe just use a couple Magnaflow glasspacks oriented like the stock muffler and make a dual exit kit out of it?

Maybe a couple of these mounted like my MXP mufflers

The delete would be our first step with an axle back and cutback potentially down the road.

I'm a potential customer. The more options the better! I'm sorry, but pipe is pipe and I refuse to pay what other venders charge for a dual exit.

I hope for the best for you guys as a vendor and encourage you to make as many competitive parts for this platform as possible! :happy0180:

A dual exit muffler delete with no drone at all, at any speed.

You would have a customer right here.

ngabdala 11-28-2012 02:22 AM

Oh how I would love one. That doesn't get me pulled over. No drone.

I think it's possible if I don't start the car, but if you tell me it can be done while driving I will throw money at you.

JDMenrique 11-28-2012 06:22 AM

That's the challenging part. To make a true muffler delete with substantially less drone would be challenging but not impossible.

We will try to see what is man power behind the constructions as well as materials, we promise to make it at low as possible so that it doesn't break bank.

honestly, I'd love to see someone make a muffler delete with just a flange and a turndown.

That is a potential outcome of this, innovation is our game and we will gladly put this on our list to do.

I already have the Nameless muffler delete. Very happy with it. Only way I could see to improve on it would be to make it out of titanium, have it weigh a pound or less, and charge $200 for it.

We will have multiple selections available.

The issue we face is that we are up and coming performance shop. While we are established in our local community, we would also love the establishment on a national level. Greddy, HKS and all these big ball players have a name and a reputation. J2 Motorsports has barely begun and we are coming to play ball.

An exhaust is an exhaust and the level of design and performance can be only superseded by how good you can innovate a design.

Very hard, but can be expensive, however we have plans that will work for this application. :happy0180:

We can definitely work around those parameters and make sure we execute our design effectively.

If you can find a way to keep the drone and the weight both down then I think you would be swamped with customers. I wonder if you couldn't put a free-flowing muffler (something tiny like a glass pack) in between the two pipes... but then of course it's not really a delete. I guess you would have to either design a resonator in between the tips, or have the exhaust dump into a central resonator that splits off... or maybe just put some junk inside a larger bit of tube that would break up the resonance without impeding flow?

I wish my job let me just fab junk up and stick it on my car and test it. That would be a blast!

Not that's it really pertinent to this subject, but I'd love to see an exhaust done with SuperTrapps.

Bored with googling things, what does that thing do?

Hanakuso 11-28-2012 05:24 PM

Single exit with a "dolphin" tip. Possibly a tad darker color then normal would be cool.

noted, thanks

JesseE 11-28-2012 05:29 PM

I would be interested except I got bored waiting for someone to do it so I made one myself. The cream color is some exhaust paint to keep the welds from rusting, ugly from underneath but you can only see the pretty part...
