They have a new one out called the dr500. Has vent slots top and bottom so they must be aware of the problem.

1) misread the first post, sorry.
2) ...you know what..not worth my time. I am buying the Blackvue DR400g-HD II with no fears of it breaking. That is my recommendation, following the recommendations of others that I know, in places of high heat, that have had no problems with theirs. P.S....OP asked me, just like they asked you...in Nobody Asked You Land..apparently.. |
I have the Blackvue 400G-HD and love it. My only complaint is that once and a while I'll get the purple ring and it won't record until the internal battery dies, but that doesn't happen often.

the ITB100, does it have parking more/motionsensing like the blackvue? i'd like to to be able to record when the car is just sitting in parking lots if need be.
also how did you guys hardwire them to run constant power for the parking modes? any issues with the car battery being drained? i would like something with all the bells and whistles. however i dont want to spend more than 300$. also i kind of want a dash cam that has both forward and rear facing camera's incase a dealer or something inside hte car happens/pulled over/ etc. |
