Thanks, Bg8780!! Now I am not the only one with the problem. You have the exact same problem that I have. We tested it with both my phone and my son's and we had the same problem. Toyota is going to change the radio on Thursday and hopefully that solves my problem.

Let me know if that fixes it. If it doesn't I have a suspicion it is the microphone unit.

I plan to ask them to check the microphone too. I will let you know what happens.

Toyota replaced my radio today and checked the microphone. Everything is working fine now and I am hoping that it stays that way.
