Looks like everybody's ok. The airbags saved them.

In these pictures, you can see the damage to the side of the car before the jaws of life. In the second picture, the person sitting on the curb was the front passenger. You can also see the head of the rear passenger inside the car.

Both passengers were rushed to the hospital. The driver was motionless

Probably the driver's first RWD car. This is so many peoples first RWD car, they need to understand you cant drive it like a FWD car.

the A-pillar and roof collapsed in to the driver area, Driver probably has severe and very serious head trauma. Thats the worst possible place to have an impact on a car, as its an integral support structure. It looks like initial impact was directly at the base of the A-pillar and door at an angle, as if the car ran off the road, and struck a light-post, looks like the car struck a pole-type object at the base of the a-pillar/drivers door, then slid against the object until the object struck the rear wheel, ripping the wheel/axel off. There was a massive amount of energy in that collision.

God be with the driver. No one deserves to have that happen for a mistake. We all make mistakes, and i hope we can all send our support to the driver who is probably fighting for his life right now.

Good grief. Hope everyone is ok. These cars are starting to remind me more and more of when the new MR2's came out back in the day. People with little driving experience were buying them because of their affordable performance and subsequently crashing them because of the lift throttle oversteer tendency of that vehicle.

Before you can be old and wise you must first be young and dumb. :sigh:
