This is the EXACT combo I was going to be doing. Great minds think alike I guess.

Have you weighed the tire and rim? My guess is 39 lbs total, 3 less than stock. Awesome considering the size difference.

How do you find the performance of the tire. Any complaints or comments. Given the choice, would you choose this combo again?

Thanks for the post!

Awesome look. The wheel I'm most seriously considering for my BRZ is the TC105N in 17x8 because of the amazing weight. I'm curious how much difference your lightweight 18x8s made to your ride. Do you feel more responsiveness? Can you feel more power making its way to the road? Thanks in advance!

Looks great. Wheel weight?

King Tut 09-22-2012 05:03 PM

I'm not sure what the exact weight is, but I think it is 16 to 17 lbs. I don't know that I feel any difference in responsiveness, and you definitely won't feel any more power making it to the road.

Looking good! ;)

Dayum, looking at these rims, haven't bothered to look at tires yet. How much did this setup cost you?

King Tut 10-22-2012 06:03 PM

The setup was about $3000 mounted and balanced. I swapped my OEM TPMS sensors over to the new setup.

These look pretty good in 18"...wonder when my 17x8 ones will show up.

I love these wheels but I will be getting 17x9 square set up.

Lonewolf 04-27-2013 10:23 PM

Those wheels are gorgeous! Hmmm, now I have to see if they come in 17X7 inch versions..

CircuitJerk 04-27-2013 10:26 PM

Nice choice!
