I got my FRS with 70 miles yesterday, and I just noticed this tonight after a 30 min drive. I know ll cars do this but my FRS was doing it super loudly, like way louder than any other car. Is it just because it is so new? I am curious why it didn't do this yesterday or earlier today.

the twins dont really have much when it comes to dampening sound, probably why its more noticeable in these cars.

Damn rude answers... C'mon guys, no one is born knowing a thing. If its the OP's first car so what? Welcome here and get educated. No need for the sarcastic belittling answers. A few good manners go a long way.

It's already answered, A/C water and metal cooling down. Move on.

For some reason the FRS is one noisey sob when it's cooling but the poppings and such are normal.... but loud :)

You could hear my WRX cooling off just the same. That's how I know it's working!

+1

Not everyone knows all the answers. That is why forums like this exist.

Don't mean to bump up a old thread

I know that theses noises are normal when you shut off the car but is it normal if you are just stopped with the car still running?

Thanks
